🔹 Abide in Yeshu: Building a Daily Rhythm of Prayer and Bible Reading
“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4
To abide in Yeshu means to remain close to Him—to make Him the center of your life. Just as a branch stays connected to the vine to live and bear fruit, we must stay connected to Yeshu to grow spiritually and experience His presence.
The two most important ways to abide in Yeshu daily are:
- Talking with Him in prayer, and
- Listening to Him through the Bible.
🌿 1. Talking with Yeshu in Prayer
Prayer is simply speaking with God. It is personal, honest, and full of trust—like a child talking with a loving father. You don’t need fancy words or memorized phrases. God looks at the heart.
Start each day with prayer, even a short one:
- Thank Him for life, forgiveness, and His presence.
- Ask for strength, guidance, and protection.
- Share your worries, joys, and needs.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
“Pray continually.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Use the model of “ACTS” to guide your prayer:
- Adoration – Praise God for who He is.
- Confession – Ask forgiveness for your sins.
- Thanksgiving – Thank Him for His blessings.
- Supplication – Bring your needs to Him.
📖 2. Listening to Yeshu through the Bible
God speaks clearly through the Bible. It is not just a holy book—it is God’s living Word that shows us His heart, His will, and His promises.
To listen to God through the Bible:
- Begin with the Gospel of John or Mark, where you meet Yeshu directly.
- Read a few verses slowly each day—morning or night.
- Ask: “What does this passage show me about God? About myself? What can I obey today?”
- Keep a small notebook to write down verses that speak to you.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4
Don’t worry if you don’t understand everything. Understanding grows over time. Just keep reading with faith and an open heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you.
🌅 A Suggested Daily Rhythm to Abide in Yeshu
- Morning: A short prayer of surrender and reading a few Bible verses.
- Throughout the Day: Whisper prayers during tasks or in quiet moments.
- Evening: Reflect on the day. Thank God and ask for peace and rest.
🧡 Start Today
Yeshu longs to spend time with you. He is not far. Each day is a new opportunity to draw near to Him. You don’t need to be perfect—just come as you are. The more you abide in Him, the more your heart will be filled with His love and peace.
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” — John 15:7
