🔹 Celebrate Grace: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
“Do this in remembrance of Me.” — Luke 22:19
Yeshu not only gave us words to believe—He gave us sacred signs to remember and celebrate His grace. These are not empty rituals, but living expressions of our relationship with Him. Through them, we remember what He has done, renew our faith, and publicly declare our commitment to Him.
The two special practices He gave are:
- Baptism — the sign of our new birth and public identity in Yeshu
- The Lord’s Supper — a reminder of His sacrifice and our ongoing fellowship with Him
💧 Baptism: Declaring New Life in Yeshu
Baptism is a public sign that you have turned from sin and received new life in Yeshu. It is like being buried with Him and rising again. It does not save you, but it shows that you have already been saved by faith.
“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death... in order that... we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4
Why get baptized?
- Because Yeshu commanded it (Matthew 28:19)
- To confess your faith before others
- To begin your walk as a disciple of Yeshu
🍞 The Lord’s Supper: Remembering His Sacrifice
On the night He was betrayed, Yeshu shared a final meal with His disciples. He took bread and wine and gave them new meaning:
- The bread represents His body, broken for us.
- The cup represents His blood, poured out for our forgiveness.
When believers take part in the Lord’s Supper (also called Communion or Eucharist), we:
- Remember His death on the cross
- Reflect on His love and sacrifice
- Examine our hearts and renew our faith
- Celebrate our unity as one body in Him
The early believers did this regularly (Acts 2:42). Churches today celebrate it weekly, monthly, or on special occasions.
🙏 Come with Faith and Gratitude
These sacred acts are not about religious duty. They are about celebrating the grace of God in Yeshu.
- Come to baptism with joy, knowing you are a new creation.
- Come to the Lord’s Table with reverence, remembering the cost of your salvation.
- Come to both with a heart full of love and gratitude.
