🌟 The Origin of Yeshu: Before Time Began

Yeshu (Jesus) entered the world as a historical figure around 2,000 years ago—but His origin did not begin in Bethlehem. According to the Bible, Yeshu existed long before His earthly birth. He is eternal, divine, and One with God from the beginning.
Let us explore some key verses that reveal His pre-existence.
📖 1. With God in the Beginning
The Gospel of John opens with a powerful truth:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… Through Him all things were made… The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” — John 1:1–5, 14
Yeshu is described as the eternal Word (Logos) Who was with God before creation and through whom all things were created.
🌌 2. Shared Glory Before the World Began
Before His death, Yeshu prayed:
“Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world began.” — John 17:5
“You loved Me before the creation of the world.” — John 17:24
This shows that Yeshu existed in divine glory before time, in perfect unity with God.
3. Before Abraham Was, I Am
When questioned by religious leaders, Yeshu said:
“Before Abraham was born, I am.” — John 8:58
This bold declaration refers to His timeless being, even before Abraham, who lived around 2000 B.C. The phrase “I am” also echoes the divine name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14.
👑 4. David Called Him “Lord”
King David, writing around 1000 B.C., spoke prophetically of a future descendant whom he calls “my Lord”:
“The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at My right hand…” — Psalm 110:1
Yeshu later quoted this to show His divine identity, not just as David’s son, but as David’s Lord. (Matthew 22:42–46; Luke 20:41–44)
🕊️ 5. Born in Bethlehem, Yet from Eternity
The prophet Micah foretold the birthplace of the coming ruler:
“But you, Bethlehem… out of you will come one… whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” — Micah 5:2
Yeshu’s birth in Bethlehem fulfilled this prophecy, yet it pointed to His eternal nature.
🌍 6. Creator and Sustainer of All
Apostle Paul writes:
“By Him all things were created… He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” — Colossians 1:16–17
Yeshu is not a created being. He is the source of creation, holding the universe together.
🕊️ 7. The Alpha and the Omega
In the Book of Revelation, Yeshu declares:
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” — Revelation 22:13
He exists outside of time, from eternity past to eternity future.
Conclusion: Yeshu Is Eternal
Yeshu’s origin is not earthly—it is divine and eternal. He is the Alpha and Omega, the one who was, and is, and is to come. Knowing Him is not just knowing a man from history, but encountering the everlasting Son of God.
